How Does it Work? Biotech Engineers recently discovered that impenetrable membranes, such as human skin, may be defeated by using high-frequency electricity. Enhanced voltage currents pass easily through resistant membranes, bringing many substances with them which were far too large to fit through the molecular spaces. This allows for transdermal delivery of compounds directly to the desired tissue which hugely amplifies the effectiveness of the compound. This site-specific delivery of chemicals is now considered the most effective method of administering treatments. Microlysis delivers 100-1000 times tissue concentration of bio-active compounds over ‘ordinary’ topical applications. Microlysis works in two easy steps.
