The SDL-50 is a more conservative alternative to our ultra-powerful SDL80 unit. Maximum power output is 180 joules per cm2/second (15-20 joules per pulse) 50,000mW QCW, at 808nm. The SDL50 has a very efficient 20mm wide beam with a pulse duration of 70ms. Pulse frequency is user adjustable up to 7 emissions per second. Although the SDL50 produces less output power than the SDL80, it is more than powerful enough for permanent hair reduction, nail fungus treatments, spider veins and pigment correction. For deep veins (varicose and thrombosis) as well has aggressive scar reduction (such as deep surgical scars) the more powerful SDL80 would be required.
