Countless studies have been performed to determine the effectiveness of short-wave epilation. These reports give irrefutable proof of the thermal damage produced to the follicle tissues that were treated. Careful measurements of cellular composition as well as detailed biopsies substantiate the permanency of short-wave hair removal. The second limiting factor is the stage of growth the hair is in at the time of the treatment. There are three distinct phases that a hair goes through during its life cycle.
